Dear *|FNAME|*

Now that the Memorial Day holiday has come and gone, summer is beckoning us to make plans for vacations, family reunions, and walks along the beach. Every season brings with it a fresh perspective for our viewing and learning. June is a perfect month to enjoy the sights around us and to seek insight from above and within for our holistic health and wellbeing.

There are many events, products and services that are tailor-made to assist in your pursuit of spiritual, intellectual, physical and professional growth and development as well as the care of your body, mind and spirit. Women’s Noonday Bible Study is offered each Tuesday at Calvary Community Church (2311 Tower Place, Hampton, VA) as well as live online via Livestream and via Periscope @nataliefrancisc from 12-12:45pm EST. Additionally, the Women of Worth & Worship Institute is offering its 8-week onsite and online sessions. And lastly, Pastor Pam Grant endorses the session she participated in as a graduate of the Women of Worth & Worship Institute.

My prayer is to be used as a conduit of blessing to each person that God allows to cross my path through the offering of WOWW events, activities, and resources. I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities, products and services that coincide with your deepest desires and values, and that you share them with others who could benefit from what WOWW, LLC offers as well. My desire is to honor God by serving you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Natalie A. Francisco

Fathers Extraordinaire

There are three men who have influenced my life in such a way as to mold and make me into the woman I am in marriage, motherhood and ministry today. I consider these men to be "fathers extraordinaire" with a life and legacy that is still impacting others to this day. They are my father, Claude Parker Gatling, Sr. (1929-2003); my father-in- law, Leslie Walker Francisco II (1929-1992); and my darling husband, Leslie Walker Francisco III, who is also the father of our three beautiful, brilliant and bodacious daughters.

My father always worked at least two jobs, and sometimes three, to ensure that our family of seven had everything we needed. He was a consummate provider, from the mortgage and utilities he paid every month, to the abundance of food he kept in our refrigerator, freezer, cabinets and pantry, to the lunch money he gave all of us each day for school. From him, I learned how to be treated and provided for and to expect nothing less from the man whom I would marry. In fact, when my then fiance' asked for my hand in marriage, my father made him promise to care for me well. Daddy already knew that I was loved, for my husband-to-be assured him of that, along with the fact that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Dad leaned back in his recliner, filled his cheeks with air that he quickly exhaled, and then replied, “Nat has 64 pairs of shoes. She's expensive, and I expect you to treat her even better than I did.” After requiring us to promise that I would complete my college education, he gave his blessing for us to marry. I knew that I had found the man who would love and provide for me, and my Daddy confirmed it.

My father-in-law was my pastor and spiritual mentor before I ever knew that I would marry his son. At the age of 12, he had anointed my hands and prayed for me to receive the gift to play the piano, and within a matter of months, God granted that request. Under his tutelage, I became the church pianist, worship leader, choir director, band director, Vacation Bible School teacher and Sunday School teacher. I accompanied him to nursing homes, street meetings, revivals, and other church services to sing and play the piano, as well as to share the love of Jesus through door-to-door evangelism as he preached. I had no idea that he was lovingly leading me into positions of influence that would prepare me for a life of full-time ministry and marriage. I remember him saying to me with a smile, “I knew you were going to marry one of my sons; I just didn't know which one!” Before dating his eldest son, I affectionately called him “Uncle Leslie” and after marrying the man that God designed just for me, I lovingly called him “Papa.” I treasure the ministry and family moments that we had together, and His preaching and teaching became the foundation for my Christian walk. He was a gentle giant -- a powerful preacher and prophet in the pulpit, an effective evangelist and equipper of the saints, and a kind, even-keeled counselor and confidante whose life exemplified this principle: “Family always comes before ministry.”

My husband, Leslie W. Francisco III, who later became my pastor and Bishop, encapsulates the best of the qualities found in Daddy and Papa, while still possessing attributes that are phenomenally unique to him. He, too, is a consummate provider, as well as consistently loving, kind, gentle, even-tempered, and humorous. He is also strategic in his thinking, goal-oriented, business savvy and wise beyond his years when preaching, teaching, advising and mentoring those under his tutelage. Not only is he the world's best husband, father, Bishop, Pastor, and business man, but he is also an FAA certified private pilot. And with everything that rests on his plate so to speak, to include the caring of churches across the country and around the world, he still intentionally prioritizes time with me, our adult daughters, and his mother who lives with us. He lovingly cares for our family better than we could ever hope for or imagine in our wildest dreams, and he does so with fervor as a man of faith, principle, integrity, and valor. Our three daughters and I adore him, respect him, and honor him as the head of our family whose counsel is wisely given and heeded because of a track record of trust and dependability. And now, Phil Bailey and Caleb McClendon, our two sons-in-law, are being mentored by him as well. Nicole and Lesley chose their husbands wisely, because in them are similar qualities that resemble what I found in their father over 35 years ago. Our daughters' standards are high because their grandfathers and their Daddy set the bar so high that no man could possibly reach it unless they have been handpicked and therefore, worthy...for “many are called, but few are chosen.” I am grateful that God chose these three fathers extraordinaire for me and our family.

An endorsement from Pastor Pamela Grant

WOWWI: Did the WOWWI session for which you registered meet your expectations?
Pastor Pamela Grant: Yes. The session went far beyond what I expected.

WOWWI: How would you rate the overall effectiveness of the WOWWI session in terms of content shared?
Pastor Pamela Grant: Excellent. I was very impressed with the depth that Pastor Nat shared of her personal experiences. From that I learned that my own experiences can help strengthen others as I allow the Lord to help me release them for His glory to help others. Not only am I looking forward to sharing my experiences but I realize they will help me to grow stronger.

WOWWI: Is there anything that Dr. Natalie should have shared in this session that was not discussed?
Pastor Pamela Grant: No, but I thank God for allowing me to have had this one on one session with this awesome woman of God that gave and poured unselfishly into my spirit. What she shared with me opened my eyes to help me see that God for His glory has greater works for me through the purpose he designed and created me for. She also helped me realize I have gifts/talents I'm not using and need to be more confident and bold about who and how God created me to be as a "Woman Of Worth And Worship." I feel so much better about myself. Yes, indeed I do. Thank you Pastor Nat. I will forever be grateful to you and thankful to God that our paths crossed allowing you to become part of my life. WOW-it was WORTH IT.
