Pearl of Wisdom 2020 Week 42

Our faith is in our infinite God who can do the impossible, not in ourselves; our expectation lies not in what we as women alone can do, but in what our Omnipotent God will do in and through us. Acts 16:14-15 (NKJV) "Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul.

Surround yourself with people who will celebrate you and not just tolerate you. Those who cannot discern your worth should be disqualified from your circle of influence. Proverbs 17:22 (NKJV)

Pearl of Wisdom 2020 Week 44

Sometimes we need to release what is most dear to us, not because we want to, but because we have to. Psalm 102:19-21 (NKJV) "For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; From heaven the Lord viewed the earth, 20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner, To release those appointed to death, 21 To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, And His praise in Jerusalem,"

Pearl of Wisdom 2020 Week 45

God will always give us the grace to handle what He has assigned to us to do according to our unique gifts and abilities. We often frustrate and overwhelm ourselves when we operate outside our area or sphere of anointing. 2 Corinthians 10:12-16 (NKJV) "For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. 13 We, however, will not boast beyond measure, but within the limits of the sphere which God appointed us--a sphere which especially includes you."

Pearl of Wisdom 2020 Week 46

I cannot blame others for my choice to over commit myself by taking on more responsibilities than I can realistically handle. Psalms 90:12 (NKJV) "So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom."

Pearl of Wisdom 2020 Week 47

Opposition is not our enemy; instead, it is our opportunity to draw closer to God than ever before. James 1:2-4 (NKJV) "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."

Pearl of Wisdom 2020 Week 48 NEW!

The enemy comes only to tempt us to make the wrong choices; God allows opposition only to test us sot that we can make the right choices. James 1:12-15 (NKJV) "Blessed is the man [or woman] who endures temptation; for when he [or she] has been approved, he [or she] will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he [or she] is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he [or she] is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death."
